Money, the sole global language universally understood, has seized control of how we run our lives. “Bad with money//On the clock” demonstrates the commodification of time and human relationships. The hunger to abandon the system completely, but trapped by the systematic lifestyle required for survival.  Perpetually on the clock to make money for things we will never truly own. This is not your fault.

Withdraw from reality has emerged from our cultural abyss as a new norm of living. Socially reinforced to keep up, “Take your Medicine” exhibits not only the act of brainwashing, but self-inflicted sedation from reality. Living in a capitalist society consuming pleasure and products, our concrete real lives are sacrificed because of our drug-like addiction to material and faux ideologies put forth from culture.  The experience as commodity, we are programmed to think we need such items to reach happiness, if we cannot obtain such status, we swallow ourselves. This is not your fault.
